Lonely Robot Lonely Robot is the musical brainchild of John Mitchell - singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist of It Bites, Arena, Frost* and Kino fame.

The project was born in 2014 when John was inspired to write some songs that reflected his love of atmospheric science fiction film soundtracks.

The debut album Please Come Home features guest performances from renowned musicians including Steve Hogarth, Peter Cox, Nik Kershaw and Nick Beggs. The album received much critical and commercial acclaim including a nomination for Best Album at the 2015 Prog Awards.

28th April 2017 is not only the date of the UK Marillion weekend but also the release date for Lonely Robot's second album, The Big Dream.

Bringing Lonely Robot to life on stage will be longtime musical cohorts Craig Blundell, drummer for Steve Wilson; Liam Holmes and Steve Vantsis, bass player for Fish. We live inside a dream...
